For many Web sites, the best way to think about it is not as something for visitors to read but something for them to do. Like all Web sites, the Boy Scouts of America site has many audiences including kids, adult volunteers and potential benefactors. The largest of these is the kids and they are not typically interested in reading about programs or the history of Scouting. So we devised some fun for them, but fun that was in line with Scouting. The material for all these games came from the Scouts Handbook. (To tell the truth, I put the Morse Code and Semaphore games in because I had had so much trouble learning these when I was a Scout!--H.T.)
